Broseta Strengthens Its Team with Six New Partners
Broseta reinforces its commitment to the development and leadership of top talent with the promotion of six partners (five equity partners and one non-equity partner) in line with its strategic plan Horizonte 27. In doing so, the firm strengthens its expertise in areas such as Corporate, Public, Tax, and Employment across its offices in Madrid, Valencia, and Lisbon.
Alberto Fernández Irizar has been appointed as a new non-equity partner following the approval of the General Partners’ Meeting. A member of the Employment department since 2021, Alberto is a labor lawyer with nearly 20 years of experience providing comprehensive advice to national and international companies in employment contracts, labor relations, collective bargaining, and labor proceedings at all levels. He holds a Law degree and a corporate legal advisory qualification from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE), a Master’s in Corporate Legal Advisory from IE Law School, and executive education from ESADE.
Blanca Silva Ruiz del Olmo has been promoted to partner in the Corporate area at the Madrid office. Blanca has over 15 years of experience advising national and international companies, private equity firms, and family offices on mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and various corporate transactions, as well as corporate governance and commercial contracts. She holds a Law degree from Universidad de Deusto and a Master’s in Corporate Legal Advisory from IE Law School.
José Manuel González Jato has been appointed partner of the Tax department at the Madrid office. He has over 25 years of experience in tax advisory, structuring investments and assets for both national and international investors. He regularly advises family offices, private equity firms, family businesses, and HNWIs on their transactions, as well as individuals and families on the organization of personal and corporate assets and succession planning. He holds a Law degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a Master’s in Tax Advisory from the Centro de Estudios Financieros (CEF).
Sofía Cabedo Usó has been appointed partner in the Public Law area at the Valencia office. She has nearly 25 years of experience advising both private and public entities on environmental sustainability and circular economy, urban planning, public procurement, public-private partnership projects, and administrative litigation proceedings. She holds a Law degree from Universidad San Pablo-CEU, a Master’s in Corporate Legal Advisory from IE Law School, and a Master’s in Law (Abogacía) from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Universidad Jaume I de Castellón.
Jaime Escribano Martínez has been promoted to partner in the Tax area at the Valencia office. Jaime has over 25 years of professional experience and specializes in comprehensive tax services for national and multinational companies, tax inspections and appeals, advice on tax incentives, and mergers and acquisitions processes. He holds a Law degree from Universidad San Pablo-CEU and a Master’s in Taxation from ADEIT-Fundación Universidad-Empresa.
Leonor Futscher de Deus has been appointed partner in the Insurance area at the Lisbon office. She has more than 20 years of professional experience in insurance and insurance distribution, including product and unit-linked contracts, regulatory policy development, and distribution agreements, among others. She holds a Law degree from the University of Lisbon and has completed various postgraduate programs in Corporate and Insurance Law.
