Corporate Social Responsibility

BROSETA is a firm committed to society, human rights and the environment. This commitment forms part of the values and culture of the firm, and all its professionals participate and collaborate daily to improve it.

BROSETA is furthermore a firm that is responsible with its team of professionals, under the conviction that excellence in customer service necessitates the fostering of policies where people come first, where there is a balance between the personal and professional life and the promotion of equal opportunity policies.

BROSETA adheres to the United Nations Global Compact, an international initiative that promotes the implementation of 10 universally accepted principles in the areas of Human Rights, Employment Laws, the Environment and the Fight against Corruption in the activities and business strategy of companies. The Global Compact is the largest voluntary corporate social responsibility initiative in the world and consists of more than 10,000 companies in 130 countries (check the BROSETA Global Compact Progress Report through this link – Spanish version).

In addition, the Firm carries out Pro-Bono activities in support of the most disadvantaged groups, such as a repeat collaboration with the organisation Caritas offering legal advice to families who can not afford to pay their mortgages and are affected by eviction proceedings.

On the other hand, BROSETA collaborates regularly through campaigns and activities with social and humanitarian organisations such as Casa Caridad de Valencia, Fundación Dasyc and Fundación Humana, among others, and is a member of the association Fundación por la Justicia that works for the promotion and defence of Human Rights in Spain and in the most disadvantaged countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America.

As part of the responsibility and commitment of the firm, respect for and work on improving the environment form a fundamental pillar. Improving the use of resources enhances our service to society and our efficiency, which is why the firm maintains an active policy of reducing, reusing and recycling of paper. Furthermore, BROSETA performs periodic controls of the use of paper and photocopying, as well as policies for recycling toners and the responsible destruction of documents.

The management of the current documentation allows the consultation and filing of documents without resorting to printing and the facilities also have efficient energy saving systems in line with environmental protection (since 2011 the lighting in all of the Firm’s facilities is with LED systems).

BROSETA also supports activities that promote a healthy lifestyle and good habits among its professionals. Thus, the Firm promotes the participation of its professionals in events such as the Career of Companies, the Career of Women and other activities of this type related to solidarity actions or support to disadvantaged groups, and carries out a an active internal policy of promotion of good eating habits.
