(+) Regarding these matters, we should mention our extensive experience in negotiating joint venture agreements between our client and the foreign partner both for distribution and for the industrial production of certain products in the country of destination. Such agreements require an in-depth understanding of our clients’ businesses, the objectives established for each project and a thorough command of the most suitable instruments and legal and economic solutions to be employed during the negotiations, with the aim of establishing a set of rules that are clear and straightforward for all parties.

Broseta Abogados also provides legal advice to clients with regard to foreign investment projects, above all in relation to the establishment of industrial installations abroad in which the technology of the Spanish investor is essential. There are several options available that can be use for implementing investments of this nature, including the direct purchase of assets, the acquisition of shares in a foreign company or the acquisition of land for the subsequent construction of industrial installations. With each of those options, there are different legal problems, negotiation approaches, and difficulties that may arise before a project is successfully completed. Our lawyers are very familiar with providing imaginative legal solutions that are adapted to each specific case.

We have created a network of leading law firms located in the main jurisdictions where our clients operate which collaborate with our head offices to provide a service based on the principles of maximum quality, security and service.

Finally, in order to establish the most tax-efficient corporate structure for the commercialisation or investment project in question, we work in close collaboration with our tax department with the aim of obtaining, within the scope of all applicable legislation, the most advantageous tax treatment.
