In the area of urban development planning and management, the Urban Development team advises real estate developers throughout the land management process, from the legal viability of the project through the final completion of land distribution actions. Throughout the process, professionals of the firm assume negotiations with the owners affected by the urban development project and with the competent administration itself, the drafting of legal documents relating to urban development, relations with public registries and the coordination of the formalities necessary to obtain the licenses and authorisations for buildings and their intended uses.

Likewise, within the area of real estate development, the firm provides legal advice on the purchase of land, preparation and negotiations of feasibility studies and regarding all legal and contractual obligations that the real estate development process entails (insurance, contracting of site management and contractors, subcontractors, sales to clients, etc.), in close coordination with the other legal departments involved (tax, contracting, etc.).

The Land Development department has also participated in expropriation proceedings, assisting public administrations, beneficiaries and those affected during the course thereof. This involvement entails providing legal and economic advice on the project, searching registries and cadastral surveys for the goods and rights affected, providing technical assistance in the preparation of deeds, the drafting of documents containing the dossiers and the drafting of statements and filing of appeals.
