The BROSETA Banking and Financial Law Department enjoys wide recognition on a domestic and international level and has provided advisory services in some of the most prominent transactions in this sphere over recent years in Spain. In fact, BROSETA has been awarded the prize for the European Banking and Finance team of the year granted by the prestigious international publication The Lawyer, at “The Lawyer European Awards”.

The team is composed of a group of professionals with specialised knowledge and solid experience in refinancing, project financing, syndicated financing and all types of complex financial transactions.

It offers legal advice in the structuring and formalisation of all types of structured financing, refinancing and capital market transactions, both domestic and international.

The firm also provides advisory services to sponsors and financing banks in the structuring, due diligence and formalisation of project financing transactions. In these types of transactions, we provide advice on the preparation and negotiation of project agreements and on the structuring of financing alternatives and their guarantees, with optimisation in terms of taxes and other costs.

The Bank and Financial Law Division of the firm also has a team specialised in Capital Markets with vast experience in all types of transactions in this sector, offering a practical and market approach. The firm provides advisory services to issuers as well as bidders from various sectors such as global bank coordinators, underwriters and brokers, both domestic and international.

The BROSETA team is likewise a specialist in advisory services in issues of all types of securities representing corporate capital (shares, with or without voting rights, redeemable, with or without pre-emptive rights), debt (debentures, convertible or exchangeable, bonds, EMTN) or hybrids (preferred shares), to Spanish and foreign companies, by public or private offer and listed on secondary markets.
