Wealth management in uncertain times

With the aim of analyzing the alternatives that may arise in regard to taxation of savings and assets in the current political, social and economic environment, BROSETA organized the breakfast meeting “Wealth Management in times of uncertainty”, which was attended by Luis Trigo, Partner and Head of the Wealth Management Department of the Firm; John Müller, Assistant to the Director of The Spanish, a digital media, and Guillermo Santos, Partner of ICapital.

The day began with the speech of John Müller who explained, from a perspective of political and economic analysis (the fruits of his long career as an analyst in the national press), the most relevant socio-economic trends that are taking place in the markets, and their involvement in the main economic indicators.

Guillermo Santos, for his part, carried out an analysis of the markets from a financial perspective, predicting the recovery of emerging economies, the good performance of the developed economies and caution in relation to the situation in China in 2016.

Finally, Luis Trigo, Partner of BROSETA, broke down the main features of Estate Tax in Spain and the most relevant legal and tax aspects to take into account in the current environment.
